Det populära SimCity kommer till iPhone i december skriver TouchArcade, via VentureBeat. Priset kommer ligga på  ~80 kronor och liknar tydligen SimCity 3000 utseendemässigt.

MG Siegler på VentureBeat är inte bara en inbiten fan av SimCity men har också spelat Nintendo DS versionen, men ger iPhone tummen upp då den kan köra en relativt avancerad version av spelet.

"I got a chance to play a near-complete version of it today; it looks great. Fans of the series will recognize the SimCity 3000 look and feel, but the addition of touch screen controls makes sense for things like zoning (creating a certain type of building zone). Using the multi-touch capabilities of the iPhone to do things like zooming in and out of your city also makes the game a good fit for the device."

Länge har jag gått och väntat på att fler ordentliga strategispel skall komma till iPhone och nu kommer alltså en av de största titlarna genom tiderna. När EA ändå är igång att släppa SimCity kanske de kommer släppa Sims i framtiden också? Sims skulle ju sannerligen gå fint även på en iPhone.
